Fr. Corapi with a 3-part special edition of “Weekly Wisdom”. This is probably the most important election you will ever vote in. Fr. Corapi explains how we must form our conscience to Church teaching. The most important issue is the right to life. You can’t get around the issue of abortion. This is Fr. Corapi at his finest! Thank you Fr. Corapi!

A couple of very interesting shows. The second hour of The Kresta In The Afternoon show of 11/13/07 reports on the USCCB meeting in Baltimore. Coleen Kelly Mast talks about the document on chastity that the USCCB is considering and the last part of the hour is on The National Right to Life Committee’s endorsement of Fred Thompson. Guest Karen Cross, Political Director of The National Right to Life Committee, explains how they looked at three factors. The position on life issues, the record on life issues and the ability to win. You can listen here or download the show.
In the first hour of Kresta’s 11/14/07 show guest Dr. Jack Willke endorses Mitt Romney. He had originally endorsed Brownback until he withdrew. When asked about Romney’s late conversion to the pro-life position Willke says ” The pro-life movement accepts converts” and says Romney’s conversion came about because he was interested in embryonic stem cells and cloning and had some questions about it. After learning more about it being the direct killing of embryos he decided he had to change his public position on it. The pro-life community is badly torn between the potential candidates. The last part of this hour is on Joseph McCarthy and the myths surrounding him. You can listen to this show here.
Teresa Tomeo hosts Catholic Connection, a daily morning show with news, information, and special guests, all from a Catholic perspective. She discusses social issues, media awareness, and interviews local businesses, youth, families, and community leaders. In this episode guest Barbara Nicolosi, a catholic movie critic and screenwriter talks about the new movie, SuperBad, which she says is “beyond vile.” Other guests include Janet Morana with Priests for Life and the Silent No More Awareness Campaign. They talk about an article linking grapefruit to breast cancer and the cover-up of the link between abortion and breast cancer. Another guest Helen Griffintalks about Decades for 2008, a prayer campaign for the 2008 elections. You can listen to this episode online here.
You can subscribe to Teresa Tomeo’s Catholic Connection, or download the mp3s. Catholic Connections is a two hour show but only the second hour is available in the podcast and mp3s. If someone knows of where the entire two hour show can be downloaded I would appreciate the information. If you want to also hear the first hour you can listen online in these archives or you can listen LIVE online at Ave Maria Radio from 8:00-10:00 EST am Monday -Friday. The dates on these archives seem to be dated a day later than the iTunes podcast download date.
