Most of the meditations range in length between 1.5 to 5 minutes. Each podcast includes a photograph and text of each meditation which can be downloaded and printed.

The podcast is produced by members in the Order of Carmelite Discalced Secular (OCDS), a Secular Community in St. Louis, MO. The community hopes to bring the message of contemplative and mystical prayer to a wider Christian audience. They are in search of Catholic Broadcasters who may want to use the meditations in their daily programming as prayerful interludes between their shows. Their first volume of works which they have been posting each week contain the works of Saints Teresa of Avila and Therese of Lisieux. You will also find inspirational messages by another Saint of Carmel, Teresa of the Andes. At the beginning of this year they started airing Volume II of the meditations which feature St. John of the Cross, Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity and Brother Lawrence of the Resurrection. Also, Volume III will introduce Pere Jacques Bunel. Here is an article on the podcast from the St. Louis Review Newspaper. To subscribe to this podcast click on their podcast link or you can listen online. They also have an archive of Mp3s.
